The University of Hong Kong has a considerable number of master’s degree students who must juggle their academic pursuits with daily work and life commitments. Furthermore, the flexible course schedules often lead to high absenteeism among these students, significantly impacting their academic performance.
VISION STATEMENT
Develop an application that alleviates the time constraints faced by master’s degree students, simplifying class scheduling and enrollment, ultimately reducing the impact on their academic performance.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Adults (around 22-32 years old), master’s degree students who own a busy life or working.

Students are interested in more than just course details; they also value the ability to view photos and videos from events they have attended.
IDEATION
To address the needs of master’s degree students at the University of Hong Kong, the application should include features for course and event enrollment, as well as announcements for upcoming events to encourage participation.
Additionally, an album feature should be integrated into the application to store photos and videos from events, enhancing the student experience and providing a platform for the university to showcase event details.
DESIGN MOOD & TONE
Given that the application is primarily intended for extensive use by master’s degree students, the design approach will prioritize simplicity and clarity. The key objectives for the design are to create a clean, professional, and easily understandable interface for the users.
